Memories from ‘STANDOUT- Teens with Distinction’ 2014.

The need for young people to imbibe attitudes that will impact their lives postively took centre stage at a conference tagged Stand Out-Teens with Distinction,

organised by The Hephzibah Initiative held at the main conference hall of the Federal Government Secretrait, Ikolaba, Ibadan on the 6th of February, 2014.

The conference featured several speakers like Adedeji Adeyefa who spoke on The Dangers of Addiction to Social media. Also Sam Naike who spoke on Having a positive self esteem a catalyst to Distinction as well as Teju Oduwole, a psychologist who spoke on Sex, dating and teenagers.

Initiator of the programme, Miss Hepzibah Olokode said the conference was designed to reduce the spate of moral decadence among teenagers as well as impact the teens for a life of significance.

Miss Olokode said the conference is aimed at inspiring and empowering the teens as they continue their transition to adulthood.

Highlights of the event include comedy, drama presentation and an interactive session centered on social etiquette, dressing, academics and talent development.

The programme was well attended by students in both private and public schools in Ibadan.
